Do you use your dining room much? We use ours a lot. When we moved in, the beautiful wrought iron arrow drapery rod was installed right above the window. I had been meaning to raise it up and finally did. I love how it tricks the eyes by making the room feel taller and the pleated curtains with the rings add sophistication to the space at such a great price, too.

We pruned our hydrangeas last week and thought I’d round up some #housecrushmonday photos filled with hydrangeas that I’ve snapped throughout the years. They add so much curb appeal, don’t you think? Here’s to warmer weather ahead ☀️.

The girls love both. Then asked about my childhood bedroom. The room I remember most, we lived in a 3 bd/2 br duplex that I later learned was section 8 housing. My room had marbled brown shag carpet. Two twin beds with a mattress and box spring. A poorly DIY metal bookshelf that I coveted and neatly lined up the few books I had. I taped up my first poster which was of Jonathan Taylor Thomas 😄 - who remembers him? They got a good laugh out of JTT!
All this to say, I truly enjoy designing my kiddos’ rooms with them. These curtains are from my old apartment. I’m excited to hang new ones to bring in more character. P.S. The stripe one is currently on sale! All updated sources of the girls’ room are on my blog (including the lighting + curtain options) or comment “read” and I’ll send to you to bookmark.
