When smart technology + charm meet 🤝
We added the Serena smart shades by @lutronelectronics to our girls’ room and love that we didn’t have to sacrifice style for function.
They’re convenient, quiet and controlled by the Pico smart remote which they think is very cool. The girls loved playing designer and picked the fabric that blends seamlessly with the room’s style. Now they can open and close the shades with just a touch of a button.
Bonus: You can automate schedules on the Lutron app so they rise with the sun and lower for bedtime 🙌!

Pretty curtains and vintage artwork will easily take a cute room to charming. Our girls’ shared bedroom is the absolute sweetest.
1. I’m a big advocate for hanging curtains high to make a room appear larger. These stripe curtains also move your eyes upwards while adding warmth, texture and a touch of pattern.
2. We adore vintage artwork. And bonus when they reflect the people in the room. These were both sourced from Facebook marketplace for not much at all.
