We rented almost my entire childhood. I lived in rentals up until buying this first house with my husband. It was a surreal and proud moment. While the bones of it were good, it needed a lot of fixing up and along the way felt like our forever home. The home we brought all 3 babies home to 🫶.
It’s almost that time where we binge watch rom-coms so had to share this audio from Father of the Bride. Happy Friday friends!

Progress > perfection. 👏
Floating on my back for 52 seconds and swimming underwater for 10?? I would’ve never thought possible. After nearly drowning as a kid, I carried that fear with me for decades. But I’m taking swim lessons at 41—alongside my kids—and every small milestone is a big victory. It’s not easy, but I’m proud of the progress.

Been waiting all summer for this 😍!
Here are two important tips that you can save for healthy + thriving hydrangeas and fall is the perfect time to plant them! 1) Prune at the right time. For us, that is early spring before any buds start forming after winter freeze is over. 2) Fertilize mid-spring right after you see any buds. Comment “YARD” and I’ll send over my yard + garden essentials including the recommended fertilizer.

We had our neighbors over for homemade pizza dinner. Lots of laughter and kids playing. This is what summer nights are all about. After they left, I stayed up picking up the kitchen since Brian did all the prepping + cooking. Which I don’t mind one bit.
