Been slowly decorating and the kids said the only thing missing is snow outside. We finally got some more last night and they woke up so excited 😊!

What are the odds? When I was about 7, my family and I came to a new country penniless, learned a new language & adapted to a new life. It hasn’t always been easy but thankful it got me here 🫶.
It will be 12 yrs this month since my husband and I bought our 1927 Tudor fixer upper. A heartfelt thank you for following along as we’ve tackled project by project. It’s surreal to see our family + home in @real_simple’s December issue in stores. I’ll cherish it for always❤️.

Little but charming. After searching years at thrift/antique stores and FBM, I found exactly what I had been looking for with this classic Louis Philippe style mirror for our foyer. Added this lush garland, brass bells and copper + brown ribbons to dress up our stairs for the holidays.

Home is where the heart is. We just put up garlands + red bows strung with lights out front. Tip: test your lights inside first before stringing your lights outside when it’s 15°. We have lots of sections that are out but it’s too cold to troubleshoot so we’re the house with half the lights out for now💡. Here’s a throwback from last year.
