We’re in our home so much more during the winter. In the past, I’ve gone out and bought large live plants like fiddle leaf figs, olive trees and whatever else is trending at the moment to bring in color. I was able to keep my first fiddle leaf fig tree alive for several years but all others have not fared well. And that hurt my heart and wallet.
Large live plants are expensive and while I still love having live plants throughout our home, I’ve also learned to embrace faux ones. For everyone who doesn’t have the greenest of thumbs or have allergies, faux plants are good options!
