A farewell to summer that seemed to have flown by. A summer well lived. P.S. I’ll always take my Vanilla Strawberry hydrangeas over a Birkin 😉. These flowers are just pure joy and will make the most beautiful dried flowers for fall decor.

We cleaned and sealed our limestone steps last year and they still look great this year. Just needs a little hosing down. Hoping to grab some fall plants and hit the pumpkin patch in the coming days. Have you decorated for fall yet?

An official goodbye to summer before I switch to fall mode. And an appreciation post for our Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangeas that have brought joy outside and inside our home. I’d pick them over a fancy bag 😉. Right now, they’re so full and an exquisite dark strawberry color, just begging to be cut and dried for the perfect fall arrangement.
Side note — when I showed my hydrangeas in our tub last year, it got some people quite angry 😆. One even said it was a waste of my clawfoot tub. Can’t a gal just wash her homegrown hydrangeas in her tub from dirt, ants and cobwebs? And can we just appreciate the beauty in the end of this video without criticizing? TY ❤️
