Top 8 Beautiful White Tile Designs for your Backsplash

We are in the middle of our laundry room renovation. It’s a unique laundry room because it once was our old galley kitchen. The beautiful original cabinets are being preserved through sanding and re-staining them. The old laminate countertop was replaced with durable quartz and the laminate backsplash is getting a facelift with new tile. We wanted white tile but something different than subway tile that was used in our kitchen.

We love the option that we picked out but before researching our choices, were unsure if we would find anything that looked special but was still subtle and not too distracting…and of course affordable. I thought it could be helpful to round up my favorite white tile designs in one place. As well as share the sources. I won’t reveal what we’re going with, yet. But if you’re looking for a white tile for the backsplash that isn’t the go-to subway tile whether it’s for your kitchen, laundry room or bathroom, you will want to check these out!

An additional tip that I’d like to share is choosing grout for these white tiles. My recommendation would be a darker grout (gray) for lighter or white cabinets and lighter grout (off white) for darker cabinets. This will give you better contrast and balance in the space.
