Our patio took many years to get here. In 2013, we roughed in a gas line dreaming that one day, we’d have an outdoor fireplace. And if we worked hard enough, that perhaps a pergola, too. It didn’t happen overnight but the wait was worth it. I wrote a detailed post on this entire process and hope it gives you helpful ideas. Save this for your outdoor project.

If you have an attic space with knee wall, I highly recommend turning them into “hidden” storage spaces. We did this to both sides of our garage attic and it was a win-win for both me and Brian. Now you know my secret —where I hide my Christmas decor 😉.
Our current project is turning our old unused back entryway into my small home office so follow along in stories for all the progress!

With three young kids, we move kind of slow here with projects. But quality is never sacrificed in our 1927 Tudor home. This is one of my favorites to date and my husband did an amazing job 🤩!
